Costco Is Selling Chocolate Chip Cheese and Shoppers

Costco groceries are among the most-discussed online. Remember its Cauliflower Crust Pizza,

which went viral on Reddit? Or the lauded Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream?

Some objects stick out because they're so odd. Zappala's Baked Chocolate Chip Ricotta is making the rounds again on social

media. Shoppers like the cheese because it incorporates chocolate, which is unusual for cheese.

On December 18, @costcobuys posted on Instagram that the culinary mashup is now available at the warehouse, stating,

"This cheese is versatile and delicious…"Anyone for chocolate ricotta pancakes?" People had lots to say.

The package calls the $13.89-per-pound Italian-imported ricotta "creamy dessert cheese with chocolate," adding that it "Pairs well

with prosecco." Though the cheese is called a dessert, which explains the chocolate, it still makes most of us gasp.
