Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

Shivam  kamra

This is such an easy recipe to make, and it requires very little preparation. The chicken breasts that have been grilled with bacon, garlic powder, and rosemary have reached the ideal level of doneness.

What else could be more perfect? Since I have five enormous rosemary bushes in my backyard, I'm always trying to come up with simple recipes that use rosemary. Excellent when served with rice and grilled vegetables. Enjoy!

Prep Time: 20 Min

4 teaspoons garlic powder 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves salt and pepper to taste 4 sprigs fresh rosemary 4 thick slices bacon

Cook Time: 20 Min

Ingredients

White Scribbled Underline

Step 1

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.

Salt and pepper each chicken breast, then sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Put one sprig of rosemary on each chicken breast. To keep the rosemary on the chicken, wrap bacon around it. Use a toothpick or another thick rosemary stem to hold the bacon in place.

Step 2

Cook chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 8 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Stay near the grill to combat any flare-ups from the bacon. Remove the toothpicks before serving.
